Warranty Policy

Negative28 LLC, doing business as Negative28 (hereafter "We," "Our," or "Negative28"), warrants its products ("Negative28 Products") against defects in materials and workmanship for a period of one (1) year from the date of delivery as confirmed by the shipping carrier's tracking information (the "Warranty Period").

This Warranty is valid only with proof of purchase from the Negative28 website or an authorized Negative28 storefront and is subject to the limitations outlined below.

Important Warranty Notice

This Warranty will be voided for any of the following reasons:

  • Product modification or alteration.
  • Use of the product for unintended purposes.
  • Accidents, misuse, negligence, or abuse.

Basic Warranty

Negative28 Products are guaranteed to the original purchaser to be free from defects in materials and workmanship during the Warranty Period.

No product may be returned without prior authorization from Negative28. To request warranty service, the original purchaser must notify Negative28 through the Negative28 website during the Warranty Period. In some cases, issues may be resolved without requiring a return. If additional action is necessary, a Return Authorization (RA) will be issued to the purchaser's email address on file.

The defective product will be repaired, replaced, or refunded at Negative28's sole discretion provided that:

  1. Negative28 is notified of the warranty claim and a Return Authorization is obtained through the Negative28 website (negative28.com) within the Warranty Period.
  2. The Negative28 Products, including all originally supplied components, are:
    • Properly packaged, preferably in the original packaging materials.
    • Shipped to Negative28 at the purchaser's expense within ten (10) business days after the Return Authorization is issued.
    • Received by Negative28 within a reasonable time after shipment. Negative28 recommends using an insured and trackable shipping method.

All returned Negative28 Products must be shipped prepaid and include:

  • A copy of the original purchase receipt or invoice.
  • A detailed description of the issue, including how the product was used and the circumstances surrounding the failure or defect.

After inspection, if Negative28 determines that the product contains a manufacturing defect, Negative28 will provide a repair, replacement, or refund at its discretion. Reasonable return shipping costs may also be reimbursed if the product is determined to be defective.

Warranty Limitations

This Warranty applies only to the returned Negative28 Products and does not cover:

  • Damage resulting from accidents, misuse, abuse, negligence, improper installation, improper operation, lack of maintenance, normal wear and tear, environmental exposure, fading, discoloration, or deterioration of materials over time.
  • Failure to follow provided installation, assembly, maintenance, or operating instructions.
  • Consequential, incidental, indirect, special, or punitive damages arising from the use or failure of Negative28 Products.
  • Damage caused during shipment by a carrier.
  • Delays in delivery caused by carriers, suppliers, third parties, or circumstances beyond Negative28's control.

Shipping Damage Claims

IMPORTANT:

  • ALL ITEMS SHOULD BE INSPECTED IMMEDIATELY UPON DELIVERY.
  • DO NOT SIGN FOR A SHIPMENT IF THE PACKAGING SHOWS EVIDENCE OF DAMAGE.
  • PHOTOGRAPH THE UNOPENED PACKAGE BEFORE INSPECTION.
  • INSPECT FOR CONCEALED DAMAGE BEFORE ACCEPTING DELIVERY.
  • REFUSE DELIVERY OF ANY ITEM SHOWING DAMAGE AND NOTIFY NEGATIVE28 AS SOON AS PRACTICAL.

Negative28 reserves the right to reduce any warranty refund by amounts received, or that reasonably could have been received, from a shipping carrier if the purchaser failed to properly inspect, document, preserve evidence of damage, or pursue a carrier claim.

Usage Warnings

Negative28 Products are intended for experienced, knowledgeable, and conscientious users only. It is solely the purchaser's responsibility to determine the suitability of any product for its intended use.

The purchaser assumes all risks associated with installation, operation, maintenance, personal injury, property damage, and legal liability arising from the use of Negative28 Products.

Negative28 reserves the right to change pricing, promotions, discounts, product specifications, and policies without notice. Orders will be billed at the prices displayed at the time of purchase.
